Nardi to play The Old Mill Saturday October 24th

Canadian Smooth Jazz Female Vocalist of the Year Daniela Nardi, her band and special guest Ron Davis are set to play the legendary Old Mill Dining Room after returning from a 6 week residency in New York.

Nardi describes her time in New York as "energetic and intense, a time of creative re-invention." There is a new brew of songs in the works and she will be previewing a few this night.

Smoothjazznow.com announces Saturday night Chill show "On the Rocks" hosted by Daniela Nardi

Smooth Jazz Now.com is very excited to announce the addition of "On the Rocks" a brand new Chill program for Saturday nights. It's slated for Saturdays 6-9PM (eastern).

"What I really love about Chill, Nu Jazz and Electronic music is that it draws upon so many influences, so many styles to create a unique blend of music," says Nardi. She adds, "I believe that many of the artists in this genre are expanding the boundaries of Jazz and Pop music and are creating music that truly stands on its own, without sounding like anyone else. When done right, it is really cutting edge and is pushing popular music forward instead of repeating the same thing over and over."

John Beaudin, owner and Program Director of Smooth Jazz Now says, "Daniela and I have been trying to work together for the last year and her idea for a Chill show was so refreshing to me and I love her inspiration in this format."
